Mission Statement
The Institute for European Integration Research (EIF) is dedicated to research and teaching in the field of European integration. Methods and theories from various disciplines are combined to maximize insight. Most central to our inter-disciplinary approach are political, legal, social, and historical perspectives.
EIF cooperates both nationally and internationally, with partners e.g. at the Max Planck Society, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the ETH Zurich. The Institute is responsible for the editorial management of two peer-reviewed journals published in the English language, European Integration online Papers (EIoP) and Living Reviews in European Governance (LREG).
